1910's (?) Pre Prohibition LONE STAR BREWING "TANGO" Tin Lithograph Sign
Good luck finding another one of these! This may be the first known example of Lone Star Brewery advertising, for a product called TANGO. Standard condition for a tin lithograph of this age (100 years old!!) with some scrapes, dings, and a tad bit of surface rust and sun fading. Please check all of the photos or ask me if you would like to see more prior to bidding. The art is typical of the era with a homely looking woman enjoying a snack along with her beverage.
17.5" tall X 14" wide.
The back shows an equally old Budweiser advertisement (possibly right after prohibition ended?) which looks like an Anheuser Busch salesman may have re-purposed it when TANGO was no longer available. It does appear painted on.
