Description

Featured for sale is a beautiful pre prohibition era brewery or BAR GLASSWARE & SUPPLIES Dealer at 32 Cooper Square in Midtown Manhattan, not far from West Village, Soho, Times square etc.   L. Barth and Son was a big business in NYC before prohibition, and from this I can guess they supplied the local tavern bar saloon scene with supplies to give to their retail outlets to sell the brewery beer.   A spectacular piece, awesome color.   The glass is in great shape, i see one small ding on the top lip, and a crack which is about an inch long inside the mug, but it doesn't go through to the outside.   krueger, Rheingold, Neuweiller, George Ehret and his Hell Gate Brewery, Ballantine, and many other New york nad New Jersey breweries and taverns probably used these guys for supplies.  The photos show some reflections on the mug, so look at all and you will get a better view of the condition cleansliness.    The mug is 5 inches tall.   If you collect etched glasses, beer cans like early cone top and flat top can versions, reverse on glass, stein, mug, toc signage, foam scraper like items, etc, you might like this!!   A great piece of early breweriana!!
