    Description

Early Ypsilanti Bottle from the Pre-Prohibition Period by Hoch Brewery
    H
    och Brewery
was located on the former site of the
    Grove Brewery and Bottling Company
    - It was at or around 414 S.
    Grove Street
    in
    Ypsilanti
from around 1866 until 1943 The site is now contained on the far east side of the former Ford Motor factory just south of Spring Street. The site was used for a number of other breweries between 1866 and 1943
The Hoch brewery was only open for two years from 1914-16. Examples from there are
    very hard to find
    - I have only 'seen' a few in over 30 years of collecting Ypsilanti items
    9 1/8"
From the estate of an advanced local collector -  I have only wiped it down and they may benefit from a more thorough cleaning
Generally good condition as shown in the photos showing the normal wear (rubs and bumps) for being over 100 years old
Please view all photos as they are part of the description - they may be enlarged
