Classic Car Addict is honored to have this 1970 Dodge Super Bee in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This 1970 Dodge Super Bee is a Mr. Norm's-inspired GSS Grand Spaulding Special featured on a magazine cover and is a five-time recipient of International Show Car Association World of Wheels Best of Show award. This is a rotisserie restoration that spared no expense! Only has 25 miles since restoration was completed. The Coronet, as well as several other Dodge models, had undergone a major redesign just a couple of years earlier, but Dodge saw fit to make a couple of minor changes to give the '70 version an identity all its own, most notably up front, where those distinctive dual ovals on the grille, fittingly named bumble bee wings, give the Coronet an aggressive, intimidating glare. It's not likely that the Mopar folks could have envisioned their handiwork looking any finer than what we see here, as the precise restoration work has resulted in this Super Bee's show-stopping look. This Super Bee is painted in color code EW1, Alpine white and code RE4 red gator vinyl top and “C” stripe. It features the rear go wing, rear bumperettes and twin mirrors. It does not appear any shortcuts were taken, as the finishing details that take a classic car to the next level have all been looked after - the glass is clear, the chrome bumpers and trim are in excellent shape, the badging and emblems are sharp, and the red gator vinyl top shows no stains or exposure-related wear. When you see a red interior in a classic car that looks as clean as this one does, you can generally conclude that either it has been sitting underneath a protective layer of plastic, or simply hasn't seen much passenger traffic. Neither the high-backed 6-way drivers buckets in front, nor the bench seat in back show any discoloration or wrinkles and the door panels are flush and carry no scuffs from hasty exits. Same goes for the console with center arm rests. Get into the driver's seat and grip the wood grain steering wheel and the Hurst pistol grip shifter and you will see a dash area in front of you that's been impressively restored, with new Tic-Toc-Tach gauges in the cluster, all surfaces sporting a deep black hue, and the dash pad running across the top un-warped and showing no tears. This Dodge also has a deluxe sound system! Powering this rotisserie-restored Super Bee is a 383ci 8-cylinder Six Pack engine mated to an 833 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst pistol-grip shifter. This Super Bee is equipped with a 3.23 posi-traction rear end, power steering, power disc brakes and a 96 Ram charger air-induction hood. 11” power brakes, power steering, 26” rad with shroud and clutch fan, 3.21-1 sure grip differential, and heavy-duty rear springs completes this Super Bee. The engine bay is nicely detailed with Hemi orange paint. The floors are as beautifully finished as the exterior bodywork and reflect the time and effort taken into this restoration. Additional dress-up packaging includes the Magnum 500 rims, hood pins, and wheel opening moldings. And to finish it off, it sits on a set of 15 stock Dodge wheels, outfitted with Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. Are you looking for a vintage muscle car that will stand out in any crowd? Call Classic Car Addict today and be sure to check out our website for 100+ HD photos and videos. 480-256-1459.
