    Description

    The Gambrinus Brewing Co. opened in Columbus, Ohio in 1906 and was founded by August Wagner (a.k.a. King Gambrinus).  The brewery existed until they were sold in 1971 and the brewery was razed in 1974, although Wagner himself died just prior to World War II.  This is an original canceled stock certificate for two shares of Gambrinus stock valued at 0 each.  It is dated August 5, 1910 and has been personally signed by August Wagner himself on the front.  Very good with the usual folds for mailing/filing and a small nibble out of the bottom edge as pictured.
