    Description

    1900 Henry Zeltner Brewing Co Two Century mechanical calendar professionally framed and matted by Callowhill Art Gallery, Reading, PA.  Pretty Victorian lady is with two different labeled pre prohibition beer bottles and a glass of beer.  HZB co used this name from 1888 to 1904 at 170th St and 3rd Avenue, New York, NY.
    Made in 1899 by J.M Hyde, White Plains, NY (at bottom left).  Minor soiling across the front, little water damage at bottom right but what can you do.. and WOW.  Color is incredible, lots of great details, and its a mechanical wall calendar.  Pretty good chance this is unique.  A single Zeltner label is pictured in Bob Kay's NY book- and it is not either of those shown and rated a Z.   Not an easy brewery to collect in any case and everything from Zeltner seems to be rare.
    Calendar is roughly 10 by 15.5 inches and as framed it is all 17 by 23 inches.  Just really well done all the way around for a spectacular New York pre pro beer sign.
